Syed Anwar Hossain

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Hossain is currently working as Chief Operating Officer in Tasia Securities Ltd. Prior to the position he was Chief Executive Officer (Acting) of Asian Tiger Capital Partners Asset Management Ltd. along with the role of Lead Project Manager of Kingdom Shenzhen Sci-Tech Co., Ltd. As a lead project manager, he worked with Kingdom’s Order Management System (OMS) and achieved the FIX certification from FIXNOX, Australia. He was the Head of Operations in HAL Capital Ltd. followed by worked in City Brokerage as Head of IT. He also worked for BRAC Bank, City Bank and IDLC. In his more than 12 years of work experience in Bangladesh Capital Market out of more than 15 years’ work experience in IT; he carries the ability to support, encourage and motivate colleagues as well as investors. He has participated in numerous seminars and training programs related to the operations and development of the capital market, at both national and international level.

Mr. Md. Shahidul Islam

Senior Manager, Finance Operations

Mr. Islam is the Senior Manager at Tasia Securities Limited. Mr. Islam has 11 years’ experience in Capital market. Before taking current role, he was Principal Officer with AIBL Capital Management Limited (a full-Fledged Merchant Bank) (A Subsidiary of Al Arafah Islami Bank Limited), He also worked as an Assistant Manager at Shahjalal Equity Management Limited (a full-Fledged Merchant Bank) and Senior Executive Officer of NRB Equity Management Limited (A full-fledged Merchant Banker) and First Securities Services Limited (A full-fledged Merchant Banker). He started his carrier in United Corporate Advisory Services (UCAS) as Executive 2011. Mr.Md. Shahidul Islam completed MBS degree in Management from National University of Bangladesh He has attended several capital market trainings by (BSEC), (BFIU) and (DSE), (BICM).
